About Oklahoma Sooners
The Oklahoma Sooners represent the University of Oklahoma, which was founded in 1890 and is located in Norman, Oklahoma. The university’s official colors are crimson and cream. The team’s mascots are Boomer and Sooner, two costumed ponies, along with the live Sooner Schooner wagon.
